Crystology Certification Retreat, Hot Springs, AR, 10/10-12

Hot Springs, Arkansas has the largest concentration of quartz crystal in North America, as well as hundreds of healing and pure hot springs. It has for countless of years been a sacred site to native peoples and tribes. Its waters have been referred to as Medicine which also embodies the bringing together of Father Sky and Mother earth in blessed partnership. It is considered a portal area and vortex from ancient Lemurian and Atlantean times and is home to rare crystals- blue and green. Many other stones, such as garnet, diamonds, agate, novaculite, mica, can be found there also.. Surrounded by pristine lakes, wilderness and mountains, Hot Springs is a truly a retreat paradise by any standards with amazing healing and restorative energies.

Crystal Cert. Level 1: This first level workshop provides the foundation to understand and access the energies of the mineral kingdom. Subjects covered include: Crystal and Mineral Basics types and shapes; Chakras: Activation, Cleansing, Cords and Connections; Inner-Self Connection and Guidance meditation; Laying-on-of-Hands with Laying-on-of-Stones; working with special crystal shapes- crystal skulls and lemurian crystals intro. Gridwork for manifestation.

Includes a visit to Coleman’s Crystal mine to discover your own special crystals. We will mine and there is also an amazing crystal store outlet that you can find crystals for a very nice price to work with.

After that we will visit the Hot Springs National Park which has some baths to soak and relax in the healing springs. You can also cleanse and charge your crystals there, as well as drink to heal and refresh internally!


Some free time to explore the parks, hot springs, parks, and lovely restaurants and shops, as a group or on your own.

Prices $150 includes certification, activities and workshops. $50 per day, but you must go full time if you would like to earn the certification. Either way, we are going to have a great time!

Schedule of Activities and Workshops:

Oct. 10, Friday:

1:00: Meet and Greet * (directions below).

1:30-2:30 Intro to Crystals and Gems: Basic Types and Shapes: includes healing functions and identification for shapes, colors, and types of stones.

3:00-3:45 Specialized Crystal Shapes: Lemurian Crystals, Crystal Skulls, and more. The history and function of special crystal forms will be explained and how they can be used for healing purposes and transformation.

4:00-5:00 Inner Self Connection and Guidance Meditation: We will learn how to use crystals to connect with your inner voice and guidance. Meditation and Visualization techniques will be used to demonstrate how to use crystals tools for connecting. Many crystal specimens will be available to use, but you can also bring your own.

5:00- Dinner and Free Time to explore Lake Hamilton or Hot Springs. We may hire a pontoon boat to go on the lake.

Oct. 11, Saturday

8:00: Meet at Jim Coleman’s Crystal Shop to mine for your own crystals. If you don’t want to mine, you can also spend time choosing from their huge indoor and outdoor selection of specimens. Besides having fun, the purpose of this activity is to learn how to identify the types and connect with your own special crystal. We want to start early to avoid the heat and also to have access to the newest tailings. We will also use dowsing techniques to learn how to discover lines and vortexes or to show us where we might find crystals that are meant for us. Bring sturdy shoes, 3 pronged hand rake, pick, bucket, if you have one. Note: We may try to start even earlier to get the earliest choice on crystals and to beat the heat.

12:00 pm : We will drive to the historic Quapaw Baths and Spa in Hot Springs National Park on Bathhouse Row. It is across from many shops and restaurants and places of interest in the center of the historic area of town. There is a café at the spa to eat and also the only public bathhouse for the healing mineral springs. You will have the chance to soak in the healing waters, meditate, and activate your crystals for healing. If you would like a massage or other spa treatment, these are available there too. You may also choose to use this time to try a different restaurant or browse through the shops if you wish. If you want to bring your lunch, there are picnic areas in the park. You can also bring containers to take home the Hot Springs Water for free! They also sell this in the shops in bottles.

3:00 pm: Meet back at Quapaw Baths and Spa. From there we will walk to some vortex areas to meditate with and charge your crystals. We will provide information on cleansing your crystals both physically and for spiritual purposes.

4:00: Free time

July 12, Sunday

9 am Drumming and Sound Activation. Ceremonial Drummers from the Manataka Indian Council will be with us to connect with Mother Earth led by Amanda Morningstar!
Bring your drums, rattles, and other musical instruments. We will have a few for you to play also.

10-11 Activating and Programming Crystals. Techniques for connecting with your crystal in specific ways for purposes of healing and transformation.

11:15- 12:15 Cords and Connections, and Grounding. Chakra linking and cutting cords for cleansing. Grounding energy for healing flow, balance and health.

12:15-1:30 Lunch

1:30- 3:30 Laying on of Hands with Laying on of Stones, Chakra Balancing. Demonstration and Practice.

4:00-5:00 Gridwork for Manifestation. Personal crystal grid designs and gridding at sacred sites for universal healing.

5:00- 5:30 Closing Circle and Meditation



** If you require transportation, we will have a van available for you to go with us or you may carpool or drive on your own.
*** After completion of the program you will receive a certificate for Crystology Level I. Advanced degrees will be available in the future. If you wish to attend by day, we will have a great time and will learn a lot, but in order to receive the certificate, you must attend the 3 days.

Local acommodations that are most conveniently located are on Central Ave. in Hot Springs. Days Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Arlington, etc. Should be no problem to find a hotel in all price ranges.
