Join us April 23-30, 2010 for a 7 day Reiki/Gong Retreat in Sacred Greece. This trip will combine Usui Reiki Certifications 1 and 2, Ch'i Gong, and meditations with a stay in the beautiful city of Delphi, sacred to Athena, Apollo, Poisdon, and Zeus.). You will receive attunements at the sacred power points, such as the Oracle of Delphi and Temple of Apollo, along with exploring, and soaking up the sun and ancient magical atmosphere of Greece.

We will teach you about and attune you to the Usui system of Reiki. You'll learn to tune into the subtle vibrations of the energies which surround us by focusing on movements and being totally present. This awareness will be further enhanced through Reiki practice and attunements for Level 1 (and/or Level 2, if you have already been attuned for Level 1). We'll incorporate guided meditations on body awareness, strengthening and clearing our chakras, chakra balancing, self-healing and much more.

Ch’i Gong: During the retreat, you'll encounter a variety of tools to strengthen your body, mind & spirit. Every day begins with morning meditation and Ch'i Gong, an ancient Chinese practice that helps you tap into and harmonize with the energies of the universe through gentle, focused movements. Ch’i Gong promotes the circulation of qi within the human body, and enhance a practitioner's overall health. Working with the qi or ki (energy) is complementary and helpful to tune into the practice of Reiki.

Yoga- basic beginning level of Hatha yoga stretches in the morning and evening to increase vitality, move and balance energy within your body. Reiki and yoga complement each other. Yoga facilitates the flow of Reiki energy in the body and mind. It helps trigger Reiki's benefits in life.

Timea Farkas will be teaching the yoga, as well as sacred dance. Gina O'Connor will be teaching the Reiki and Chigong and may be attended by other reiki masters to assist.

Seven days are devoted to learning Reiki including hands-on practice, attunements, meditation and theory. During the Reiki lessons you'll also learn about the 7 main chakras and their functions, the aura, hand positions for healing self and others, how to ground and protect yourself, how to sense the energy bodies of others and yourself, and how to augment your practice with crystals

Delphi and its surrounding area is an enticing blend of awe-inspiring scenery, enchanting beaches and the traditional Greek lifestyle. Days here are can be spent exploring quaint villages, sunning and swimming in secluded coves, wandering through olive groves and feasting on gourmet Greek cuisine. All this is accompanied by a glorious panarama of lush hills and glittering seas, and ancient sites and history.

Sacred Delphi, where you will receive Reiki Attunements at the Temple of Athena or Temple of Apollo. Delphi is considered to be a place in which heaven and earth met, the center or navel of the earth and extremely sacred and transformational. The name Delphi comes from the same word as "womb" as was connected to the Earth Goddess Gaia, as well as ancient legends about sacred dolphins. This will be a place in which you will always be connected through the attunements to enhance your healing experience and abilities for a lifetime. Delphi is also known for its Oracle of Delphi where ancient Greeks came to foretell their future and receive wisdom. This source of timeless knowledge is a place where we will meditate and reflect, charge up ourselves or our crystals for inner connection and answers to meaningful queries.

A new development on this trip is that there will be workshops and meditations on crystal skulls. 2 very ancient crystal skulls, Leonid Regulus and Tao Chi will be there to connect with, as well as some other powerful healing crystal skulls. They are of ancient Mongolian origin. Leonid is a golden calcite and Chi is an petrified wood. Both have much to teach about nature and the way of spirit.
What better way to connect with our inner divinity and learn the ancient art of healing reiki- both for ourselves and the healing of others.
